About this tour
Shkodra, the largest city in Northern Albania, is known as the capital of Albanian culture. It is home to the first Albanian theater, the “Migjeni,” and is also recognized for hosting the first cyclic race and football match in Albania. Key attractions include the Rozafa Castle, the Great Cathedral, and the Ebu Beker Mosque. As a main travel hub, Shkodra is a gateway to the magnificent Albanian Alps. On the way to Shkodra, visitors have the opportunity to explore the picturesque towns of Lezhe and Kruja, as well as the breathtaking alpine mountains of Theth.
Must haves:
Comfortable hiking shoes: For exploring the villages and doing nature walks.
Weather-appropriate clothing: Depending on the season, bring layers. For colder months, a warm jacket and thermal wear are essential; for warmer months, lighter, breathable clothes will work.
